July 23, 2022 R-TEAM Robotics Club Meeting & Contests
We held a Sumo Bot competition as well as our first Ant Weight battle bot competition. 10 Sumo Bots competed. It was our first Ant Weight battle bot robot scrimmage in the RTEAM Ant Weight arena. Ant Weights are easy to build with many parts available on Amazon as well as Finger Tech Robotics. Amazon parts are less expensive but tend to be slightly larger. The Ant Weights have no S/W & no electronics development. The emphasis is mostly in mechanical design & getting better at driving the machines.
